MIDAS, previously known as STARS MDM (Strategic Trading Analytic Reporting System Market Data Master), is used to fetch and publish market data to downstream data-source systems.

The objectives of MIDAS are as follows:

• Consistent configuration for sourcing market data.
• Centralized processing of business rules which include cleansing of market data and creating a golden copy (one view of market data that would be consumed by downstream systems/processes).
• Reducing rework in market data related to reconciliations and EUC's.
• Providing an independent, verified and complete source of market data for use by business processes.
• Increasing transparency with data lineage and audit trail.

Job Description :

Responsibilities

• Apply your deep technology expertise to ensure all TD areas that touch various technologies
have the necessary tools, processes and documentation to operate effectively.
• Execute on TD Technology engineering strategy as it relates to the introduction of tools and
the automation of build, test, release and configure across application, platform and
infrastructure.
• Partner with Operations to automatically integrate with appropriate tools and processes as part
of automated/self-serve application, platform or Infrastructure releases.
• Apply an in-depth understanding of relevant business needs and work with technology partners
to identify and leverage synergies across the various areas.
• Draw on best practices and your knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve
products or services.
• Monitor and control costs associated with the work you do.
• Be prepared to collaborate with governance and control groups, (e.g. regulatory and operational
risk, compliance and audit), provide your subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues
related to Engineering technology and tools.
• Develop and/or contribute to negotiations of third-party contracts/agreements.
• Work with your team, business and tech partners, vendor platform provides, engineering firms
etc. to keep abreast of trends, products, frameworks, applications.
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of external development, engineering, emerging
solutions, market conditions and their impact.
• Coach new or less experienced colleagues and serve as a reference point throughout
requirements management life cycle.
• Manage Changes and Application Release with Code Review, Merging, Packaging and
Deployment
• Requirements gathering and negotiation with Business Stakeholders and Users - lead JAD
sessions
• Develop code in Asset Control formula engine and perform configuration changes in a Unix
environment

Job Requirements :

What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Unix scripting experience
• Asset Control development experience in a Unix environment
• Experience with Oracle 19c
• Experience with Formula Engine, Java or python
• Be willing to provide L3 Support

• Experience working on Agile Teams
